Caste Enumeration in Census 2027

The Union Government has announced that Caste Enumeration will be conducted as part of the Population Census 2027. Ahead of the exercise, the Registrar General of India has begun a nationwide pre-test (rehearsal) tofinalise the questionnaire and methodology for caste enumeration.
