National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission (NCDRC) · A quasi-judicial commission established in 1988 under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986. · Headed by a sitting or retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India or a sitting or retired Chief Justice of the High Court, with its head office located in New Delhi. · NCDRC has jurisdiction to entertain complaints valued at more than two crore and holds appellate and revisional jurisdiction over orders of State Commissions or Districts. · Any person aggrieved by an order of NCDRC may prefer an appeal to the Supreme Court of India within 30 days. |
