- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced the approval of ‘Jaya Jayahe Telangana’ as the state song, available in two versions – a shorter one of two-and-a-half minutes and a full 13.3-minute rendition.
- Penned by Andesri two decades ago, the song served as a source of inspiration during the struggle for separate statehood and has been endorsed without alterations.
- Renowned music composer M.M. Keeravani has composed the music for the anthem.
