About the festival

• The first National Youth Parliament Festival was organized in 2019.
• The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, through the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) and National Service Scheme (NSS), has been organizing the Youth Parliament.

Aim

• Strengthening the roots of democracy is the primary aim of the National Youth Parliament Festival.
• It aims to inculcate healthy habits of discipline and tolerance of the views of others among the youth.
• Additionally, it seeks to enable youth to understand the practices and procedures of the Parliament.
