About Kalbelia Dance

  • Kalbelia dance is linked to the Kalbelias tribe, known as snake charmers.
  • Also referred to as Sapera dance.
  • Females are the dancers, accompanied by males playing various musical instruments.
  • Instruments Used: Pakhawaj, dholak, jhanjhar, harmonium, and sarangi.
  • Recognized by UNESCO and included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2010.
