  • Michael Douglas was honoured with the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Cinema.

 

About the Award

  • The award is instituted by the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
  • The recipient is recognized for their exceptional contribution to the growth and development of World cinema.
  • Originally known as the IFFI Lifetime Achievement Award.
  • First instituted in 1999 during the 30th IFFI.
  • During the 52nd edition in 2021, on the occasion of Satyajit Ray’s birth centenary, the award was rechristened to “IFFI – Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award.”
