  • It offers an immersive experience designed to showcase the diverse ecosystems of the Eastern Ghats, spanning from Odisha to Tamil Nadu.
  • The primary goal of the centre is to inform, educate, and inspire visitors about the rich biodiversity present in the Eastern Ghats Mountain Range.
  • The project is a collaborative effort involving wildlife artists, illustrators, sculptors, architects, wildlife biologists, translators, and content creators.
About Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary

·       Location: Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

·       Named after a local hill named Kambalakonda.

·       Characterized by dry evergreen forest mixed with scrub and meadows.

·       The terrain in the sanctuary is hilly, featuring steep slopes.

·       Dominated by species like Indian screw tree, Bush plum tree, Jungle berry bunches.

·       Presence of Indian leopard, Indian pangolin, Madras treeshrew, Barking Deer, Jackal and Russell’s viper or Daboia russelii.

·       Inhabitants include Indian Golden oriole, Indian peafowl, Banded Bay Cuckoo.
